Monthly Archives: June 2008

ugh, i’ve been sick for the past week or so. not totally sick, just sick enough for me to lose concentration on studying discrete math [which i love] and accounting [which i totally hate; not the subject, perse, but the instructor... guh i hatehatehate!!!]. i haven’t been able to blog about anything because i was so busy with the start of a new semester: juggling 4 major subjects [all math!] all the while nursing a headache and body pain is not at all conducive to artistic/enlightening thoughts.

so i don’t have cancer, but i learned that my monthly menstrual pain for the past year and a half was due to me having endometriosis. still haven’t fully checked it out because my mother is being a bitch again. i really need to turn 18 soon.

i love studying. i know it might seem like a delusional thought [well, for people of my age, yeah. but i guess parents would defend me], but i really love studying. the 2 weeks of so-called “summer” was spent stuck in a rut. so i welcome back my beloved scholarly-routine.

  • Ma22 [mathematical analysis II]: turns out to be easier that Ma21, in my opinion. i guess it’s because we’re still in integration techniques… would probably change my mind when new topics rise.
  • Ps31 [analytical physics]: i love physics. my highschool education made me love this subject. i miss Sir Kulong!!! he was probably the best science teacher that i had. even my current physics prof can’t top him. anyways, the subject is pretty much my hs-physics too. heading down to rectilinear motion. can’t wait to start on rotational kinematics and work!
  • Acc20 [financial accounting]: i hate this! the prof is not an “instructor”, more like an “answering machine”! we don’t DISCUSS things, we just answer exercises from our “complete” book. what kind of teacher are you?!
  • Ma124 [discrete math]: logic! i love the fact that this is more than just your typical course. i can honestly say that the test can be answered by COMMON SENSE! hehe. not really, of course. but, it’s logic (at least, for the first part). it’s more than just memorizing stuff (okay, maybe a few logical equivalences), because you have to think, and i like that. =)
  • Th121 (theology introduction): the first of the typical atenean-theology-minor. i like the fact that the prof doesn’t suffocate us with mushy-religious stuff. i’m a very objective person, and the way she [yes, SHE] presents the topics, in a very philosophical, organized and almost rational manner, makes me look at my spiritual existence in a different [but good] way.
  • PE 102 (aerobics): haggard!! but at least i’m burning some fat. haha =)
  • NSTP1: i don’t even know what to start with this. so far, i’m hating it. not the teaching, because we haven’t reached that part yet, but the system is just so disorganized! annoying! i just hope we get to teach kids soon so i can look at this ’subject’ and consider it of some objective worth.

i just realized that i need to control myself and stop READING SPOILERS!!! i find that i can’t seem to enjoy watching my fave tv shows [BONES!!!] and movies anymore. must. control. self.

and another thing i realized: i’m a girl! i’m turning into a kikay girl! i want THIS (the 16s) (more detailed here) for my birthday!!! aren’t they purty?? of course, nothing can beat MAC brushes, but i don’t want to spend 3k for ONE brush… that’s 5 math books for future subjects! and suesh looks really nice, and a friend (friend? heehee) gave me the 5pc brush set last year. so there. love ‘em.

and add to nars and smashbox, make up forever is such a purty brand!! argh!!! why can’t i have all the money in the world?!!

need to do layout stuff. tata.

it’s negative. thank you po, Lord.

DSC01484i didn’t know being an orsem volunteer can be this tiring. it’s like we’re freshies again – running tour plus lots of sweating [eew!]… SOBRANG INIT! it was a lot of fun, really, but i certainly can’t be as energetic as the TNTs… i don’t know where they get the strength to still dance and shout and dance…

got to hang out inside the escaler-up room, where they keep all the thingamajigies for projectors and stuff… and it’s nice to be the one to control the lights or when the movie is on or not… it’s like being a god in some way, i don’t know, does that make sense?DSC01675

anyways, my legs are jelly right now. and that’s just the first day! we still have 2 days left, not to mention SOSE night tomorrow and O-night the following day…

WOOHOO!!! FUN!!!

survey under cut…

after recovering from a severe sprain, another one comes up.

tenesmus, hematochezia, lack of appetite.

it only started yesterday.

and the worst thing is, my mother not caring at all.

BLECH! i won’t bother calling her for help anymore.

i’m giving it one week. if they continue, then… no, they MUST NOT continue. this has to stop within 7 days. i am munching on apples and grains now.

i guess the hyperactive TNTs are a tradition. i thought it was only in our time. :) )

not that there’s anything bad to that, ’cause they’re all fun to watch.

and i saw the O-Film. haha, WHO DID THE VOICE-OVER??? ’cause she sounds EXACTLY like kristen bell. :D

tired now. argh. fatigue?

no, not thinking about that.
